I am very excited that President-Elect Barack Obama will be keeping in touch with the American people. This President-Elect is coming off a recent victory running, not sitting back doing nothing.
For all of the negative comments; I say this, “What are you going to do to help this man help America out of the mess its in”, probably nothing but what you’re doing
whining, complaining and letting others create a better America, while you continue to just take up space.

As a strong Christian, Obama will of course be sworn in using the Christian Bible.
Electing a Catholic in 1960 was a milestone, which younger people have forgotten was a big deal at the time. I’m sure that 20 years from now, electing a person from a minority race, or a female, will also no longer be a big deal. Then the next barrier will be electing a non-Christian. We are likely several generations away from breaking that barrier. But I’m sure that prejedice will fall also.

I am ashamed at the racial response from this country, color is only skin deep,the
people of this country has set us back several hundred years. However Americans
should be less concerend with color,and very much concerend with the “FAITH” of
this President Elect, for faith goes to the core of any person. Will Obama be sworn
into office with the “HOLY BIBLE”, or the KORAN. This should be the concern of each
and evey “AMERICAN”. This country was founded on faith “IN GOD WE TRUST”!!!
This should be the major concern of every fellow “AMERICAN”. Without faith in …
“GOD” the color of our President makes “ABSOLUTELY” no difference what so ever
because without a closer and personal walk with “GOD” this country will go to “HELL”
in a hand basket,and at this point we do not have far to go.

Very disappointing. No different then any other past president. I was hoping it was going to be twofold: 1) Inspirational and 2) Putting forward a key policy and telling Obamanics how they could help him get support.
