Copyright Alliance files amicus brief asking Supreme Court to review legality of Cablevision’s RS-DVR system under copyright law

News: For the first time ever, the Copyright Alliance has filed an amicus brief asking the Supreme Court to reverse the Second Circuit’s ruling in favor of Cablevision’s RS-DVR system. The system allows Cablevision subscribers to record shows (time-shifting), with the recordings stored on Cablevision servers.
