    Let us establish a leadership position that is greater than president, and assign it by consensus to Al Gore. Let our new leader be one that signs no bills, writes no laws, pardons no one, and has no political power at all. Let him be the one everyone looks on for vision and leadership. Let him be the one we listen for when we want answers. Let him be the one who inspires the actions of the people, not by coersion, not by authority but by a wizard-like mastery of the facts. Let him be not so much a scientist but one who observes, understands and respects science. Let’s not elect Gore to the presidency of the United States. Let’s proudly put Obama in that position. Let’s make Gore our voice instead; let’s make him our eyes and our ears, and our voice.
