I was a public school teacher and administrator for 15 years and see nothing wrong with showing your students something you are good at and enjoy (hell, you're the cheerleading coach right?). She is likely an excellent teachar and I admire a teacher who is willing to perform their skills in front of their class and see the benfit in doing so.
