I’d like to offer an alternative to YouTube’s player where embedding can sometimes be, erm, problematic. I’m currently developing an alternative player (with many more options) that works in the same way but embeds each and every time

I hope this doesn’t come across as solicitation because it’s not. It does directly relate to YouTube content, albeit on a more macro level. Plus it’s free (and will continue to be) and does not currently require any membership.
