Wesley Autrey, a 50 year old construction worker from Harlem, saved a young man this week from certain death from an approaching subway car. The young man, a student, had experienced a seizure, fell onto the tracks, and lay helpless as a subway train was approaching. What Autrey did for this stranger was one of the most heroic — and incredible — acts by a Good Samaritan. Autrey’s quick thinking and bravery saved the guy’s life, only after risking his own. The video tells Wesley’s story better than I possibly can.
